For a rewarding walk with to a secluded little beach, set out from Captain Cook’s Lookout. The track starts close to the car park at the lookout. It descends through pockets of rainforest and dry woodland before emerging at a set of stairs leading down to North Smoky Beach. Superb views over the ocean and beach can be seen from the top of the stairs. The beach is unpatrolled and known for its rips and strong ocean currents.
