The track to the summit is extremely steep, but worth the effort with 360 degree views of the surrounding Glass House Mountains and farmland. The summit walk is 1.4km return. Visitors are advised to set aside about one hour for the trek. The concrete path leading to the summit is extremely steep. It begins in open eucalypt forest before passing through a small patch of rainforest. The track then climbs through heath spotted with grass trees. A fire tower sits at the summit. Visitors can climb to the first level of the tower to take in the views.
