Dorrigo Skywalk

Dorrigo Rainforest Centre, Dome Rd, Dorrigo

The Dorrigo Skywalk is a 70m long boardwalk high above the World Heritage-listed rainforest within the Dorrigo National Park. Visitors are given a bird’s eye view over the canopy of the rainforest and to the green ridges of the mountains in the far distance. The dramatic vista stretches from the Bellinger Valley to the distant mountains, giving unimpeded views of the line of mountains, including the massive Dome Mountain. Visitors walk 21m above the rainforest, providing a good place to spot native brids such as regent bowerbirds, topknot pigeons and and grey goshawlks. Dorrigo Skywalk is just an hour’s drive from Coffs Harbour, or a ten minute drive from the Dorrigo township. Entry is via the Dorrigo Rainforest Centre and by a gold coin donation. The walk has a post to which you can fix your camera to give you the perfect shot.
